Comic book based on a dream
This was a fun project which I had during 2020-2021 and it taught me a lot along the way. The Edge Of Midnight is based on a dream of mine which I saw in December 2019. My dreams have always been extremely vivid and intriguing but this was special even by my own standards.
After talking with a great composer Brian Grainger, I got an idea to turn this story into a comic book. I tried to find a good writer for a long time and I was actually about to give up already but then I stumbled upon Jakob Free. He turned my original story into a script and he did amazing job, all the little changes that he made to my story were great, in my opinion. Another thing was to find a good comic book artist and yet again, it wasn't an easy task. Luckily Peter Cacho seemed to understand my vision really well and it was quite fun to work with him. Brian Grainger kindly composed an incredible score inspired by my dream, and it ended up being over 4 hours long which still completely blows my mind. I can't imagine all the hours he spent with this project but I couldn't be happier with the results.
This was a long journey but overall it was a really great experience and I learned so much. I love these kinds of collaborations because it's great to see a project from a different perspective and that often helps it to reach a whole new level.
